Haleiwa offers just about everything a visitor seeks: history, quaint shops, beaches, surf, water activities, deep sea fishing, whale watching and terrific dining for all tastes at its many fine eateries. Kua Aina is known for its fabulous burgers and fresh fish sandwiches. Jameson’s and Haleiwa Joe’s are “finer dining” while Pizza Bob’s (great salads too) and Rosie’s (Mexican) are casual family dining. No trip to Haleiwa is complete without having “shaved ice” at Aoki’s or Matsumoto’s.
